Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded Welsh-medium secondary school in Caerphilly.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in their learning journey. You will work closely with teachers and pupils to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

? Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who require additional help with their learning? Assist in delivering lessons and classroom activities under the direction of the teacher? Support students with special educational needs (SEN), helping to break down barriers to learning? Encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential? Help with classroom management, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment? Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources? Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff to provide tailored support for students

What We're Looking For:

? Fluent Welsh speaker - essential for this role? Passion for education and a commitment to supporting young people? Previous experience working in a school or with young people (desirable but not essential)? Strong communication and teamwork skills? A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
