Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic team and take charge of their financial operations.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Prepare insightful monthly Profit & Loss statements.
  • Oversee the month-end process for the group and its subsidiaries.
  • Handle VAT returns and assist with FCA returns.
  • Provide regular cash balance summaries to effectively monitor cash flow.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial assessments to guide management decisions.
  • Contribute to the financial elements of tenders and business plans.
  • Authorise payments, oversee credit control, and ensure accurate bank reconciliations in line with FCA regulations.
  • Liaise with auditors, accountants, and bankers to maintain compliance and confidentiality of sensitive financial data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
  • Proven experience in financial management and team leadership, reporting directly to the CFO.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, audit processes, and ideally FCA regulations.
  • Experience with payroll management is a plus.
