Shift: Monday to Friday (6.00am to 2.00pm rotating with 2.00pm to 10.00pm)
Pay: up to 45,433.72 DOE + Overtime = earnings of 50,000 and upwards achievable
Overview:
With manufacturing facilities located across the UK and EU, we now require a site based Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the team.
Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Fitter role:
- To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
- Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
- PPM's
The ideal candidate / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Fitter may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Time served apprentice trained or above
- Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar
- An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding. Most of the faults are predominantly mechanical and electrical training can be givem should you desire to further your knowledge in this area.
Commutable from: Trecenydd, Caerphilly, Pontypridd, Newport, Cardiff and surrounding areas.
