This is a great opportunity to join an expanding business in a newly created role, as an Injection Mould Technical Manager. As part of a larger group this position will provide you with excellent training specific to site based machinery as well as external training courses. Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians and setters to achieve operational excellence.
  • Oversee day-to-day injection moulding operations from a technical stance.
  • Plan and execute mould trials for new products or modifications, ensuring thorough documentation and analysis of results.
  • Collaborate with the tooling, NPI and engineering teams to optimize tooling and processes.
  • Oversee tool changeovers, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • A strong background in injection moulding is essential for this role.
  • Experience of implementing LEAN Manufacturing and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • People management experience is a benefit to any applicant.
  • Engineering qualifications related to injection moulding are preferred.
