This role will consist of supporting children and young people from ages 8-18 who currently reside in the care sector. You will be involved in the daily living of the individuals, providing person-centred care and promoting independence when necessary. A large part of the role is providing individuals with access to the community to participate in leisure activities and appointments. In this role, you have a real chance to have a positive impact on people’s lives and improving your standard of living. Shift patterns will consist of long days and sleep in shifts, with the sleep in allowance being up to £4k additional to salary.

What you will need to succeed:

You must hold at least 6 months experience of working in the social care sector, supporting vulnerable individuals, and you must also hold a full UK drivers licence to be considered. Full training will be provided for this role, however you must be committed to completing this training and any further training that may be required. Through this, you will be supported to gain qualifications and experience that will assist you in developing a career in social care.
