Teaching Assistant

Academics are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and positive Teaching Assistant to support teachers in providing an effective learning environment for students in a large, welcoming and supportive school in Newport. We have a great relationship with the school who have a fantastic Senior Leadership Team.
Key responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant
- Provide 1:1 support to the pupils who require additional support in the classroom.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with pupils and staff within the school.
- Assist the classroom teacher in the planning and preparation of lessons.
- Monitor and track the progression of students' progress and achievements.
What do you need?
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (We can assist you with the process)
- Registration with the Education Workforce council (We can help you with this)
- UK driver's license (Desirable)
