I am working with a client that is looking for a stock controller/materialscheduler for a job in Caldicot.
Core Responsibilities

Order Management:Place and track material orders according to production schedules and inventory needs.
Inventory Monitoring:Regularly monitor inventory levels, minimiseobsolete stocks, and reduce liability.
Supplier Coordination:Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery timelines, and address potential delays.
Data Management:Maintain accurate records in the MRP system.
Problem Solving:Quickly address stock shortages, delays, and other disruptions, keeping internal teams informed.
Collaboration:Work with internal teams to align material schedules with business requirements.
Supplier Relations:Support supplier meetings, negotiations, and evaluations to ensure supplier performance aligns with business needs.
Process Optimisation:Identify and implement strategies to improve inventory management and optimal stock levels.
