Teaching Assistant / Classroom Support Assistant - SN11

My client, a vibrant and expanding primary school, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. You’ll have the unique opportunity to support children from Early Years through Key Stage 2, helping them overcome challenges and succeed both academically and socially in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work with individuals and small groups to deliver engaging learning programs.
  • Assist with the general pastoral care of students, supporting their well-being and inclusion.
  • Provide support to teachers by monitoring student progress and helping with classroom activities.
  • Help implement strategies to meet learning objectives and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Assist with phonics, speech and language programs, and contribute to student development across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Passionate about inclusion and supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Able to work flexibly across different age groups, from Early Years to Key Stage 2.
  • Confident in the use of IT, including Smart boards and basic Literacy and Numeracy software.
  • A great communicator who can build positive relationships with both children and adults.
