My client, a thriving primary school in Calne, is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting children across KS1 and KS2, tailoring learning strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Promoting inclusion and fostering positive relationships between children and adults.
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to deliver effective teaching and learning activities.
  • Utilizing your knowledge of the National Curriculum to help children achieve age-related expectations.
  • Supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs in their learning journeys.
  • Confidently using IT tools like Smart Boards, Word, and the internet to enhance classroom experiences.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Possess a TA qualification or equivalent and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Show a passion for working with children with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
  • Be a flexible, enthusiastic, and energetic team player.
  • Have experience with speech and language support (preferred but not essential).
