Injection Moulding Technical Engineer

Are you confident in working on NPI processes and directly with mould machines to improve parameters, cycle times and resolve problems? Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Technical Engineer to work across 2 day shifts for a specialist injection moulding business. As the ideal candidate you will have experience of working across the injection moulding process and be skilled in materials, setting, cycle times, machine optimisation and quality investigation and have a great understanding of thermoplastics and plastics generally.
You will work closely with the Production Manager, Quality Manager and Senior Setter and have inputs into material selection, process improvement, waste reduction, machine optimisation and day to day troubleshooting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to give technical leadership across the business with influence and input in all areas of the business from design, estimation and costing to production and quality.
