Quality Manager - Surrey - up to £50,000 + Benefits - Ref 1814
I am currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to work for an engineering organisation based in Surrey. Salary up to £50,000 + Benefits.
The organisation are supply their products to clients worldwide within their specialist market and have been established for over 75 years.
Due to internal organisational changes within the business they have the need to appoint a Quality Manager on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Quality Manager, you will be leading the quality function within the organisation and managing a team of 3 quality personnel across different disciplines. You will be a Senior Manager and have a direct report to the Managing Director and be given full autonomy to make improvements and changes of process to improve the overall quality of the business. You will be expected to be hands on with this role and guide and develop the junior members of your team to help them develop in their careers.
Requirements:
- A strong understanding of ISO 9001, 1400, & 18001
- Previous hands-on experience working as a Senior Quality Engineer
- Experience working for SME's
- A desire to improve an existing QMS system.
