Maintenance Team Leader Urgently required to work for a global leading manufacturing organisation based near Farnborough. We are looking for an experienced Team Leader who can command the respect of the team and take control of the maintenance, Coordinate and direct the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities within this business critical manufacturing site.
This role will be key to ensuring the manufacturing facility is kept in clear, safe, top level condition including all facilities, machinery and production equipment.
Key to the business is the ability to look at updates, plant the layout and support the development of the facility and all equipment on site.
We are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer/ team leader who has a proven history within production and manufacturing sites ideally.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspects plant and evaluates use of space and facilities.
- Analyze HVAC systems, computer network, lighting and other factors.
- Plans, budgets and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions.
- Performs audits to support facility planning.
- Acts as liaison to public utility, environmental and energy agencies.
- Manages subordinate supervisors in the Maintenance Department.
- Maintains the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
Experience
- Must possess an outstanding degree of judgment, organization, planning, initiative, flexibility and creativity
- Must be able to perform calmly and reasonably under pressure from demand for production and other exigencies
- Requires capability to be resourceful and very creative with machinery and facilities
- Exposure to chemical odors such as DPA, Ammonia and Ethanol
- A number of Years industry related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Experience of a TPM Monitoring System (Shire)
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations
