Account Manager
Location: Camberley
Salary: 28,000-35,000 + Bonus
Hours of work: 8:30am-5:30pm
My client who are based in Camberley are a leading wholesaler for Cleaner, Janitorial and Hygiene Suppliers. Your role is to sell the goods and services we offer to our current customer base. To understand, assess and develop these accounts and to create a pipeline for new business in accordance with the sales strategy, company policy and your individual targets.
Key Responsibilities and Accountability:
You are responsible for all aspects of the accounts in your portfolio.
Others within the company in particular new business will work on these accounts with you.
You are expected to meet the agreed company goals and targets for growth in terms of turnover, profitability and increase spend.
You are expected to keep your customer records and files up to date using the CRM tool.
To write reports and quotes and carry out admin/paperwork in relation to your accounts.
You are expected to manage and develop your accounts and process all orders.
As required you will need to visit customers to maintain the relationship and enhance additional business opportunities.
You are expected to be able to plan and prioritise your own activity to match the goals of the company and your individual targets.
You are required to attend regular training and development sessions both internally and externally. This may involve an overnight stay for external training.
You will be expected to meet with your Account Director on a monthly basis to identify training and development needs, highlight opportunities for brininess development and identify potential risks.
You are required to attend quarterly performance reviews with your Account Director with a focus on sales performance and opportunity pipeline.
From time to time you will be required to represent the company in a capacity outside of your normal role and to complete tasks not directly related to your own accounts.
