Business Development Manager

Location: Camberley

Salary: 40,000 + Bonus (OTE 50,000) + Company Car

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

My client who are based in Camberley are a leading wholesaler for Cleaner, Janitorial and Hygiene Suppliers. This role is to sell the goods and services we offer to our current customer base. To understand, assess and develop these accounts and to create a pipeline for new business in accordance with the sales strategy, company policy and your individual targets. You will also be required to support the Sales Director and Sales Team in all aspects of the acquisition of new business.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability:

You are responsible for all aspects of the accounts in your portfolio. Others within the company in particular customer services will work on these accounts with you.

You are expected to meet the agreed company goals and targets for growth in terms of turnover, profitability, and new business.

You are expected to keep your customer records and files up to date using the CRM tool. To write reports and quotes and carry out admin/paperwork in relation to your accounts.

You are expected to manage and develop your accounts.

As required, you will need to visit customers to maintain the relationship and enhance additional business opportunities.

You are expected to be able to plan and prioritise your own activity to match the goals of the company and your individual targets.

You will be expected to meet with your sales Director on a weekly basis to identify development needs, highlight opportunities for brininess development and identify potential risks.

You are required to attend quarterly performance reviews with your Sales Director with a focus on sales performance and opportunity pipeline.

From time to time you will be required to represent the company in a capacity outside of your normal role and to complete tasks not directly related to your own accounts.
