Accounts Senior Cambridge Up to £60,000
A dynamic and personable firm of chartered accountants is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Accountant. Located just south of Cambridge in modern offices with free parking, the firm serves a diverse client base, from sole traders to national companies across Cambridgeshire and London.
Role Responsibilities
- Overseeing a diverse client portfolio, from small sole traders to national companies, spanning various sectors and turnover ranges.
- Using TaxCalc to prepare, review, and file financial statements in accordance with FRS102-1A and FRS105.
- Handling the preparation, review, and filing of corporation tax CT600 and VAT returns, including R&D credits and grant approvals.
- Completing personal tax self-assessments for directors and sole traders.
- Interacting with clients both in-house and on-site.
- Leading and supporting the team, as well as mentoring trainees.
Personal Requirements
- Ideally ACCA qualified, part qualified, or qualified by experience with experience in a UK-based accountancy practice.
- Highly skilled in using Xero, TaxCalc, and BrightPay.
- Exceptional at building and maintaining client relationships.
- Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience in supporting a team of accounts staff.
