Job Purpose

  • Manage a varied portfolio, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
  • Lead audit assignments from planning to completion, championing compliance at every step
  • Preparation of accounts
  • Assist with corporate tax compliance work
  • Build strong relationships with clients, proactively handling queries and acting as their go-to advisor
  • Aid the professional development of juniors, delivering training and reviewing work
  • Support Directors and Partners by undertaking ad-hoc work where required
  • Research and interpret changes to audit and accounting regulations

Job Requirements

  • AAT / ACCA / ACA qualified or part-qualified
  • Previous audit experience within practice
  • Previous experience in the preparation of statutory accounts
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant software including Microsoft Office
  • A hands-on team player who can also work autonomously
  • An enthusiastic, can-do attitude towards problem-solving
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines
  • Highly organised, reliable and professional
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • A drive to progress within the firm
