Here's what you'll be doing:- Planning audit engagements and leading onsite teams (70% of the time).- Preparing accounts and drafting tax computations (30% of the time).- Liaising with clients to resolve any queries, escalating more complex matters to manager/partner.- Reviewing team members' work before passing the completed file to the manager.- Coaching juniors and providing feedback on the quality of their work and performance.- Controlling assignment time in line with pre-determined budgets.- Using your experience to improve processes and create best practices.- Maintaining high-quality standards in both audit and service.- Reporting to senior management and the board.- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to drive the business forward.What You'll Need to Succeed as Senior Auditor - ACA or ACCA Qualified with post-qualification experience.- Experience in planning and leading external audits.- Enthusiasm to progress in a senior role.- A good management rapport to mentor the audit team.- Knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102 and experience with audit software (our client uses Caseware).What's On Offer?In addition to your salary, our client offers:- 25 days annual leave (with the option to buy/sell up to 5 days).- Private medical insurance.- Contributory pension scheme.- 4x life assurance.- All-employee share scheme.- Family-friendly policies (e.g., paid time off for dependents).- 2 days paid for volunteering.- Cycle to work scheme.- Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) including shopping discounts.What's Next?I am looking for an ambitious Senior Auditor to join this growing team with our fabulous client in Cambridge.
