Business Tax Director

Cambridge

I am working with one of the Big 4 in the search for a commercially driven Business Tax Director to join the Cambridge team. You'll gain and share extensive experience in business development and advisory services, overseeing a diverse range of middle-market clients, including family-owned businesses, private equity portfolio companies, mid-sized firms, and innovative startups. You'll tackle a wide array of complex tax issues.

About the Role

  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with and manage senior stakeholders, including Partners and Directors, across the tax network.
  • Client Development: Foster new client relationships and identify new business opportunities within our market.
  • Client Portfolio Management: Build and manage a diverse portfolio of client engagements, including large corporations, private equity portfolios, family offices, and startups.
  • Private Business Tax Focus: Lead projects with a variety of clients, introducing relevant specialists as needed.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders, collaborating across the firm to enhance client relationships and deliver complex projects.
  • Expert Knowledge: Maintain and share expert-level tax knowledge, staying current with technical developments and changes in tax law and legislation. Deliver sessions at client and knowledge events.
