Help us as we inspire children. Off the Page Ltd. seeks a finance officer to manage the company’s finances and advise us as we prepare for the future.

Founded in Cambridge in 1996, Off the Page provides in-school and virtual workshops in history, science and other topics for primary school children.

The company seeks a finance officer to work 2-3 days per week. They will be based primarily at our Dry Drayton office, although this could be combined with working from home. Responsibilities include:

  • managing day-to-day company accounts via Xero
  • paying invoices and processing expenses
  • credit card analysis and reconciliation
  • reconciling the bank account
  • managing pensions
  • preparing payroll
  • advising on company finances
  • assembling end-of-year accounts for accountants
  • preparing and submitting the annual VAT return
  • producing the annual budget

Successful candidates must be qualified level 4 AAT/ACA/ACCA or equivalent. They must also be highly organised and have excellent communication skills. A minimum of two years’ bookkeeping experience at a UK firm is essential. Knowledge of accounting software (Xero, Sage, Excel, etc.) is required. Experience with grant applications is a plus.
