Group Accountant

Pure are currently recruiting for a Group Accountant on behalf of a international organisation with their Headquarters based in North Cambridge. This role will report into the Group Financial Controller and will form part of a team of 4 based in the UK, you will assist in the groups internal accounting and reporting and to assist with the groups statutory reporting. The main elements of the role are as follows -- Manage the production and presentation of monthly financial and management accounts- Take ownership of IFRS 15 for various contracts and revenue recognition- Take ownership of the intercompany recharges- Take ownership and maintain the fixed asset register- Monthly reconciliations for two UK entities- Processing of the group monthly VAT return- Assist in the monthly cash management - Support when necessary with the transactional processing - Review stock movement and valuation on a monthly basis and at year end. You must be studying towards ACCA or CIMA or be a qualified Accountant, you must have advanced excel skills and have experience in pulling monthly financial accounts together along with managing month end provisions and adjustments.This role will offer hybrid working which is currently 1 day in the office, alongside a competitive salary the organisation will offer share options, life cover and private medical insurance.
