A property development organisation that are driven by design, value, sustainability, and customer satisfaction are currently recruiting a Management Accountant, they are focused on producing homes that blend the best of modern design with sustainable construction and low running costs.This newly created position is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and thriving business, this will initially be a stand-alone finance position but there may be future scope to recruit an additional Assistant into the team.The primary responsibilities of this role include:
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable, including bookkeeping tasks such as maintaining records of all transactions and performing bank reconciliations.
  • Processing invoices, monitoring bank account balances, and reconciling bank statements.
  • Overseeing inter-company loans and ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Assisting with income and expenditure forecasting and control, including valuation and drawdown activities.
  • Handling VAT and CIS returns.
  • Payroll and pension management experience is a plus, though not essential.
  • Preparing monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and project costings, and presenting these to the management team.
  • Preparing management accounts and conducting nominal ledger reviews.
  • Coordinating with external accountants and preparing year-end financial statements for the company.
You must have proven experience in the above mentioned tasks and be comfortable prioritising and managing your own workload.
