JGA are partnered with an exciting client based in Central Cambridge. The role is a contract position on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week office based.

Job Title: Payroll Team Lead
Location: Cambridge - CB2 - Hybrid (2 days in office – Mon & Tues)
Length: 6 – 9 month contract
Salary/Rate: £18 - £25 per hour

 Responsibilities:
  • Support the Payroll Manager through a period of increased workload.
  • Involves supervising the day to day activities of the Payroll Administrators.
  • Manage all PAYE related matters for customers, including PAYE end of year procedures.
  • Checking payrolls, advising on complex issues, supporting the Payroll Manager with projects and potential processing some payrolls where required.

Qualifications:
  • Level of supervisor experience in a payroll environment
  • Proven experience in payroll administration, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
  • Proven experience with high volume & end to end processing.
  • iTrent experience (Advantageous)
  • Oracle (Advantageous)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex payroll concepts clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
