Role Responsibilities, Senior Revenue Accountant
- The Senior Revenue Accountant will take Ownership of the group's revenue recognition procedures and policies.
- Manage the month end, and year end close processes related to group revenue.
- Play a key role in writing and updating the revenue accounting policies.
- Partner with the commercial teams and review complex contracts to determine the correct revenue is being adhered to, and is inline with IFRS 15 and company revenue policies.
- Assist with external audit for revenue and IFRS 15 reporting.
- Process improvements, help drive change with the wider finance team to improve efficiencies across the division.
Experience Required
- ACA or ACCA qualification.
- Revenue recognition reporting under IFRS 15.
- Ideally experience within the software, SAAS or tech industries as a Senior Revenue Accountant, or Financial Accountant with strong IFRS 15 experience.
- Business partnering skills, you need to be able to communicate complex financial information to non-finance personnel.
