Location: Central Cambridge

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (the client would also consider someone who is looking to work 4 days week)

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 depending on your experience

Job Duties:

  • Efficiently post client and office transactions including invoices and payments
  • Reconcile bank accounts and manage cheque deposits
  • Handle credit card payments using Clover Devices
  • Collaborate with the Accountant's Office on payroll and VAT returns
  • Maintain Purchase Ledger and ensure accurate archiving of files
  • Support cost update procedures and prepare Bad Debtor Reports

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in double-entry bookkeeping
  • Willingness to learn specialist Solicitor Accounts software and Law Society Rules
  • Competence with Word Processors, Photocopiers, and other office equipment
  • Strong organisational skills to manage Fee Earners' diaries and sensitive information with confidentiality
