This position will be 3 days a week but they are open to somebody that may be looking to work school hours over 4 days, the role is based in central Cambridge with access to parking onsite.
Reporting into the Financial Controller this role will take responsibility for the following -
- Set up payment for all supplier invoices and staff expenses, send remittances to suppliers and manage direct debits.
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Oversee processing and review of supplier invoices
- Raise customer invoices as required
- Assist with the preparation of month end accounts including prepayments, accruals, intercompany reconciliations and fixed asset management.
You must be able to demonstrate a strong level of accounting experience, be well organised and be able to prioritise tasks effectively. You must be available to start at short notice and be available to commit to 3 months in this role.
