- Assist students with bus pass queries, including raising vouchers for successful bursary applications.
- Liaise with the Bursary team regarding financial assistance applications and requests.
- Manage the Bus Pass email inbox.
- Input student information into the Finance software accurately and efficiently.
- Undertake other necessary duties related to this post, demonstrating flexibility in undertaking the role.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
- Comply with legal and industry guidelines, such as the Data Protection Act (GDPR).
- Resolve queries from customers via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
- Experience with computerized accounting systems and database software.
- Proven experience working in a team environment within a finance department.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with colleagues and students at all levels.
- Strong self-management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, using initiative and being flexible and adaptable.
- Ability to perform routine tasks with minimal supervision and communicate any issues promptly.
