We have a new and exclusive vacancy available for a Laboratory Technician, with a world-renowned company based on Cambridge Science Park.
Within your role, you will work on some fascinating projects, encompassing Biotech, Consumer and Healthcare, as well as Sustainability.
It's a multidisciplinary team, working on some unique and diverse challenges, which will allow you to boast your range of skills, such as:
- Evaluating and testing systems and devices
- Wet chemistry
- Analytical Science
- Supporting laboratory equipment
- Providing safety training
- Monitoring stock levels, samples, and media using aseptic techniques
- Accurately recording and reporting results
- Mechanical rig assembly and testing
About You:
- Proven experience working in a lab, test house, or within production QA processes
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Confident ability to perform hands-on lab procedures in a methodical, precise and safe manner
- Great multi-tasker, who is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with changing project demands and requirements
- Superb teamwork skills
- Competency with standard IT packages, including Microsoft Office applications
- Effective communication skills and capable of delivering essential safety training to engineers and scientists and providing guidance on lab equipment
- Prior experience conducting medical device testing in compliance with ISO 13485 standards would be very useful
