We have a new and exclusive vacancy available for a Laboratory Technician, with a world-renowned company based on Cambridge Science Park.

Within your role, you will work on some fascinating projects, encompassing Biotech, Consumer and Healthcare, as well as Sustainability.

It's a multidisciplinary team, working on some unique and diverse challenges, which will allow you to boast your range of skills, such as:

  • Evaluating and testing systems and devices
  • Wet chemistry
  • Analytical Science
  • Supporting laboratory equipment
  • Providing safety training
  • Monitoring stock levels, samples, and media using aseptic techniques
  • Accurately recording and reporting results
  • Mechanical rig assembly and testing

About You:

  • Proven experience working in a lab, test house, or within production QA processes
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Confident ability to perform hands-on lab procedures in a methodical, precise and safe manner
  • Great multi-tasker, who is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with changing project demands and requirements
  • Superb teamwork skills
  • Competency with standard IT packages, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective communication skills and capable of delivering essential safety training to engineers and scientists and providing guidance on lab equipment
  • Prior experience conducting medical device testing in compliance with ISO 13485 standards would be very useful
