As a Facilities Assistant, you will be at the heart of ensuring our school premises are safe, secure, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors. This is a varied role that includes maintenance, security, cleaning, health & safety compliance, and supporting school events.

This prestigious Cambridge based school is looking for a Facilities Assistant to join their supportive team and play a vital role in maintaining their high standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance: Routine repairs, refurbishment, and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and furniture.
  • Security: Assist with morning drop-offs, end-of-day lock-ups, and general site security.
  • Health & Safety: Conduct regular compliance checks (e.g., fire panels, PAT, legionella).
  • Cleaning: Routine and emergency cleaning duties, including managing waste.
  • General Duties: Portering, event preparation, and providing cover for absent colleagues.
