Overview:

Evolve Hospitality have grown rapidly and really put ourselves on the Cambridge map in the last year. We are urgently looking for Chefs of all levels for on-going Monday to Friday work across our extensive Contract Catering business. If you have at least one years' solid experience as a Chef of at least Chef de Partie level then we want to hear from you. We pay great rates of pay with holiday paid on top of wages.

Role Specifics:

  • Able to run a section independently and handle busy prep for both employee dining or Hospitality during the working week
  • Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Safety, Allergens and labelling and able to provide/complete Food Safety certification
  • Some client facing and serving according to site

Competencies:

  • Hardworking with a passion for working with fresh ingredients
  • Experience of event catering for both small and large functions and events including private dinners/lunches, weddings, feasts and other high profile events
  • Creative, driven with a strong work ethic
  • A good communicator who is able to speak English to a high standard is essential
  • Reliable and a strong team player who is able to foster good working relationships and set an example to inspire junior staff
  • Good working knowledge of health, safety and hygiene together with dietary and nutrition awareness
  • Proven and positive track record in a busy commercial environment
  • NVQ 2/3 in Catering plus certificates in Food Hygiene and Allergen
