The Role:We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and manage our sales operations. This office-based role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the sales process, manage a small team, and drive revenue growth across both UK and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage sales across the medical, defence, and private sectors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the customer base and meet revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with UK and overseas customers.
  • Provide regular sales reports and feedback to senior management.
  • Manage and support a small sales team, ensuring smooth sales operations.
  • Respond to inbound sales inquiries via phone and email.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotations based on detailed construction drawings.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual sales budget.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in sales management, preferably in technical, defence, or medical sectors.
  • Successful track record in a similar role with the ability to lead and develop a sales team.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards is beneficial.
  • Experience managing long-term customer relationships in the UK and internationally.
  • Understanding of security and defence protocols is advantageous but not essential.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially aware with strong financial acumen to manage sales budgets and forecasting.
  • High attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Self-motivated, professional, and able to travel nationally and internationally.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain UK security clearance.
  • CSCS construction card is beneficial but not essential.
