Independent Reviewing Officer

Opus people solutions on behalf of Cambridge County Council have an exciting opportunity for a Independent Reviewing Officer to join their team.

Job Title: Independent Reviewing Officer
Length of assignment: Initially 3 months, potentially 12 months.
Hours per week:37
Hourly rate: 42
Location: Scott House
Remote/Office based: Mix from working from home /Field work/Working from any CCC office

• Chairing statutory Child in Care Reviews in person
• Ongoing monitoring of progress of Children's care plans / pathway plans
• Identifying areas of drift and delay in permanence for children, and escalating as per CCC's
• Escalation Policy Visiting children outside of Reviews
• Travel to children at their care placements, 50% of whom reside outside of Cambridgeshire
