Lynx Employment Services is seeking a Document Controller to support our clienton a key project in Huntingdon, Cambridge. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional with experience in document management, compliance, and administrative support within the construction or engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain project documentation, records, and drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Organize and control document workflows, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and distribution of files.
- Ensure document version control, tracking changes and updates to technical and project-related files.
- Work closely with engineering, construction, and project teams to coordinate document submissions and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality management procedures.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and reports.
- Use document control systems (such as Aconex, Viewpoint, or similar platforms) to maintain document integrity.
- Handle general administrative duties related to document management, including scanning, filing, and archiving.
? Previous experience in a Document Controller role, preferably within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
? Proficiency in document management software (Aconex, Viewpoint, SharePoint, or similar).
? Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
? Ability to work independently and proactively, managing deadlines and priorities effectively.
? Knowledge of ISO quality management systems and document compliance processes.
? Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
