An industry-leading technology company is seeking a PCB Designer to join their engineering team. The company develops cutting-edge solutions for high-reliability applications, and my client is a specialist leading technology company, who due to project expansions are looking for a Designer to join their growing team.

This role would require you to be onsite 3 days a week (Hybrid) and so you need to be based a commutable distance from the office.

Our client does not have a licence to sponsor, so, because of this, no sponsorship can be offered.

Permanent Hours: 9am until 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Key Skills:

  • Strong Experience working on PCB Schematic, Layout and Design.
  • Expertise in Schematic layout reading.
  • Client facing experience - Client specifications, product support and bespoke design.
  • Proficiency in PCB Design software such as Altium Designer (preferred) or equivalent.
  • Experience taking designs from concept through to prototype and final assembly.
  • Strong understanding of electronic design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

What you'll be doing:

You will work closely with the Manufacturing, R&D, and Mechanical teams to create high-quality PCB designs for production and assembly.

  • Working alongside a Senior Engineering team for PCB design and board bring up.
  • Develop and manage PCB Assembly Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Interpret design briefs, technical drawings, and specifications to produce accurate and effective designs.
  • Collaborate with engineers, customers, and suppliers to refine and develop designs.
  • Facing clients, for specification, consultations and maintenance of existing boards
  • Working through entire development life-cycle of PCB boards, from design, implementation, manufacturing, and maintenance and testing.
