Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a global manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment and machinery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment & pipework
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed
- On-site fabrication
- In-situ welding
- Install new machinery, equipment
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Keep accurate maintenance records
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components in an industrial setting
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition to handle the demands of the job
