Electrical Assembler
Day shift: 13.00ph - 15.00ph
Location: Waterbeach
Hours: 08:00am - 16:00pm
Proactive are currently recruiting for skilled Electrical Technicians in Cambridge to start work immediately.
This is an exciting opportunity working for a market leader in the design and manufacture of high performance electronic solutions. You will be working as part of a wider team delivering projects to meet production targets, offering ample opportunity for progression and development.
Our client requires candidates who have proven assembly skills and previous experience working within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the assembly and manufacture of electronic products
- Installation of electronic components
- Wiring, soldering and crimping
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings, wiring diagrams
- Ability to work to production deadlines
- To ensure products are built to the required quality standard
- Adherence to Health & Safety standards
- Responsible for keeping a safe and efficient work space
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a production environment
- Electronics experience
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
- Strong communication and team working skills
- High regard for Health and Safety
- Time served apprenticeship preferred electrical basis
- Gives and welcomes feedback and contributes to building a positive team spirit
