We are searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Solar PV Electrician to join a growing renewable energy asset management company as a Lead Electrician.

The Lead Electrician will be responsible for Solar PV operations and maintenance across the UK for commercial and industrial projects.

Job: Lead Solar PV Electrician

Location: Field Based / Oxford - Cambridge - Norfolk / UK

Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 per annum

Benefits: Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Pension, Paid Overtime and Free On-Site Parking

Schedule: Monday - Friday + On-call Rota

Lead Electrician Responsibilities:

Lead and manage on-site teams
Conduct maintenance inspections and remedial works
Conduct client meetings on-site
Assist with managing and growing the electrical team
Plan and design solutions and remedial works for Solar PV systems

Lead Electrician Requirements:

Confident working at height
Willingness to travel across the UK
Previous experience working with Solar PV
City & Guilds 2383 18th Edition
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing
CSCS Card
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience using MEWPs and Mansafe systems (training can be arranged)

Lead Electrician Desired Requirements:

Knowledge of MCS rules
First Aid at Work
Experience with data networks (RS485 / MODBUS)
IPAF
