As an Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of client accounts and ensure the smooth delivery of outsourced accounting services, including bookkeeping, management reporting, and credit control. Working closely with clients, you will use cutting-edge technology to streamline their financial processes and provide them with valuable business insights, whilst also overseeing and supporting trainees and account associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Collaboration: Supervise and support Trainees and Account Associates in their tasks, ensuring all client needs are met.
  • Client Management: Manage your client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial reports.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Prepare management accounts, VAT returns, and payment runs, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
  • Technology Use: Leverage cloud accounting software like Xero to drive efficiency and provide real-time financial insights.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve services and streamline workflows for clients, enhancing profitability

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Qualifications: AAT qualification (essential).
  • Experience: Experience with Xero or other cloud accounting platforms.
  • Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, and time management abilities.
  • Mindset: Proactive and detail-oriented, with a passion for client satisfaction and continuous improvement.
