Your role as Audit Assistant ManagerAs an Audit Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in leading audits, managing teams, and supporting client engagements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and leading audit engagements, managing onsite teams (70% of your time).
- Preparing accounts and drafting tax computations (30% of your time).
- Reviewing the work of team members and ensuring the quality of audit files.
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members, offering feedback and guidance.
- Liaising with clients to resolve queries and escalate complex matters as needed.
- Ensuring assignments are delivered within pre-determined budgets and timescales.
What you'll need to succeed as Audit Assistant Manager
- Part-qualified or fully qualified ACA, CA, ICAS, or ACCA.
- Proven experience planning and leading external audits.
- Knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102 and strong technical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with client-facing experience.
- Familiarity with audit software (e.g., Caseware) and Microsoft Office packages.
