Are you an experienced manager or senior manager with plenty of experience in overseeing the provision of high turnover audits?

We're delighted to be supporting a UK Top 20 accountancy firm with their search for a leader in the field of audit who can apply their strategic vision to boost the service levels, output and growth of the audit department. This Audit Director job in Cambridge will suit an exceptionally experienced and capable accountant qualified to ACCA/AAC level with senior leadership experience.

Job Purpose

  • Leading a team of auditors and overseeing an audit portfolio at an established and growing UK Top 20 firm of accountants.
  • Working alongside fellow Partners to provide strategic insight into the audit workflow, resourcing and direction of travel.
  • Reviewing and preparing audit work.
  • Advising on various audit focused projects and problems.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure clients are benefitting from all business services.
  • Providing training and development for colleagues and team members.
  • Representing the company at networking and business events, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Identifying opportunities to introduce and cross-sell company services to new and existing clients.
  • Setting an example as a hands-on Director.
