Interim Part-time Finance Director (3 days per week)

£550 - £700 per day
Reed Finance Cambridge are delighted to be working with a Tech business in Cambridge, on the recruitment of an interim part-time Finance Director. The contract is expected to last until April 2025 but could easily extend.
The successful Finance Director will report directly to the board and take full responsibility for finance, including group consolidation. You will be a qualified accountant with IFRS reporting experience and extensive post-qualification experience, ideally with listed businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls and adherence to financial policies.
- Group consolidation, including international entities.
- Manage currency, tax, VAT across the group.
- Planning and lead on audit.
- Provide strategic financial reporting and analysis to the board.
- Offer expert advice on financial risks and maintain key banking and financial relationships.
- Suggest areas of improvement related to finance processes and systems.
- Ensure the organisation’s adherence to all relevant corporate legislation and regulatory requirements.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Recognised accountancy qualification: ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- IFRS reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of financial accounting standards, corporate governance, and risk management.
- Demonstrable experience in a leadership role at Board level.
- Strategic and operational expertise.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
