Role responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met
- Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns, including income, capital gains and property-related tax matters
- Providing advice on inheritance tax, trust planning, residency and domicile, and succession planning
- Supporting partners with ad hoc advisory projects and complex client queries
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients and handling enquiries and disclosures
- Developing strong client relationships and offering proactive, tailored tax advice
- Supervising junior team members and supporting their technical development

Candidate requirements
- ATT qualified and either CTA qualified or with at least four years of practical experience in personal tax
- Strong technical understanding of UK personal tax legislation and compliance processes
- Experience advising on inheritance tax, capital gains, trusts and non-residency issues
- Excellent communication skills and a client-centric approach
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio and work effectively within a team
- A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for continued learning and development
