I am so exciting to be partnering with this fantastic Cambridge based business in their search for a People Advisor. There will be a particular focus on Employee Relations in this role, and you will be playing a pivotal role in providing HR support to line managers. Our client, a well-established company based in Cambridge, is seeking a dynamic and experienced People Advisor to join their team. This is a fantastic role for an HR professional who thrives on making a meaningful impact, providing expert guidance to line managers, and enhancing the overall employee experience.

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to line managers on best practices in people management, including performance management, employee relations, and HR policies and procedures
  • Lead on employee wellbeing initiatives, ensuring a positive and engaged workforce.
  • Support HR projects, policies, and initiatives that align with the company's culture and values.
  • Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives to foster an inclusive and supportive workplace.
  • Support the Head of People in the design and delivery of initiatives to promote employee wellbeing and mental health awareness across the organisation, including organising workshops and events.

  • Experience coaching managers through ER (think PIPs and performance management, feedback conversations, maternity/paternity/shared parental and adoption leave, flexible working requests)
  • Demonstrable examples of improving processes and ways of working, ideally through the use of automation
  • Up to date knowledge of UK employment law legislation
  • Experience supporting with complex ER
  • Understanding to take a commercial approach7
  • You must hold a UK Drivers licence.
