About the Role

My client is seeking an AI Developer to join their central IT team. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a professional eager to contribute to the adoption and enhancement of AI and machine learning (ML) technologies within the organisation. The role follows a fully remote position or a hybrid working model, with the option to work two days in the office and three days remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate within an agile development team to design and implement AI-driven solutions.

  • Work on independent projects as well as larger team-based initiatives to improve AI capabilities.

  • Engage with non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and guide them through the acceptance testing process.

  • Utilise Microsoft Azure's AI and ML services, leveraging my client's close partnership with Microsoft.

  • Support existing applications by troubleshooting and resolving issues.

  • Deliver enhancements and small-scale solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the testing phase to ensure the quality and effectiveness of AI implementations.

  • Utilise agile methodologies to manage development cycles effectively.

Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in AI and ML development.

  • Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, .NET Core, and SQL Server.

  • Experience developing API services and working with publish-subscribe messaging systems.

  • Background in database design and implementation.

  • Ability to collaborate within a small team and work independently on specific projects.

  • Experience engaging with non-technical users to confirm requirements, test solutions, and provide ongoing support.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
