Are you a dedicated CDM Principal Designer looking to elevate your career with a thriving construction consultancy? Our client, a family-feel and fast-growing Consultancy, is seeking an experienced CDM Principal Designer to manage their exciting and prestigious project range. Due to their boutique nature they champion an enjoyable work place, whilst you also work from home 2-3 days a week.

The CDM Principal Designer Role

As a CDM Principal Designer, you will play a pivotal role in leading meetings and providing expert advice to clients across the Residential, Commercial, and Education sectors. Working with a national company that focuses on local projects, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in your community while engaging in a variety of stimulating projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Advisory: Provide confident and effective advice to clients, ensuring full compliance with CDM regulations across various sectors.
  • Principal Designer Role: Autonomously act as a Principal Designer, while collaborating within the team to support seamless project delivery.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects strictly adhere to health and safety regulations, mitigating risks and enhancing safety standards.

The Successful CDM Consultant Will Have:

  • Qualifications: NEBOSH Construction (required), Tech IOSH (minimum), APS membership (preferable), Degree in Architecture or Engineering (preferable)
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in CDM roles.
  • Skills: Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
