Start-up using Python, TypeScript and Rust to deliver digital healthcare
This is an exciting opportunity to join a Cambridge based start-up working on a new approach to providing tailored digital healthcare.
Our client seeks a full stack engineer to join their friendly and versatile team, working across a tech stack using Python, TypeScript and Rust. Building a growing SolidJS/Django/Postgres application, in close collaboration with clinical colleagues and representatives, you will be able to ensure the end-user patients receive excellent care and service from the product. You would have direct input into strategic decisions about future technologies used, as well as helping to shape and mentor the team.
The type of person they are looking for will have
- Experience building consumer applications across the static/SPA design spectrum, from server-side traditional MVC apps to fully client-side JS apps
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, but probably prefers to use Typescript for production purposes
- Worked in modern Python codebases for large production applications
- Enjoyed working with product and design teams previously and takes pride in delivering well-built products, solving real-world problems
- Full rights to work in the UK without time limit
Additional desirable attributes include:
- Experience with software medical device development
- iOS/Android mobile application development (native or otherwise)
- The ability to design UIs (e.g. in Figma)
- Worked with WebRTC or other real-time technologies and has perhaps built DSLs/compilers
The generous remuneration package includes early-stage equity via an EMI scheme, comprehensive medical cover (including dental and optical) and an onsite gym. Optional remote working is available on Wednesdays, with an additional annual allowance of 10 days to work remotely from anywhere in the world.
