Weighbridge Administrator

As a Weighbridge Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient operations at our client's landfill site. Your primary responsibilities will involve weighing waste vehicles, ensuring environmental regulations are met, and providing support to site management.

Key Responsibilities of Weighbridge Administrator:

  • Managing the weighing of vehicles entering and exiting, and logging information in the 'Gladis' system.
  • Overseeing compliance with Waste Transfer Notes.
  • Supporting site managers with reports and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Coordinating traffic and maintaining site safety.
  • Performing general housekeeping and administrative tasks to ensure smooth site operations.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of relevant modules in the Competency Management System.
  • Successful completion of all training as per the Training Matrix.
  • Strong understanding of duty of care and customer service.
  • Proven track record of meeting challenging work demands and satisfying customer needs.
  • Experience in identifying and implementing operational improvements.
  • Health and safety knowledge within landfill operations and weighbridge administration.
  • Thorough understanding of weighbridge operations.
