About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Gardener to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining the gardens to the highest standards, leading a small team, and contributing to the planning and implementation of new, climate-resilient planting features.Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain designated garden areas to the highest standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of gardeners and apprentices.
- Ensure healthy and sustainable plant and soil management.
- Plan and execute seasonal and project tasks.
- Operate garden tools and machinery safely and competently.
- Safeguard the health and safety of staff, students, and the public.
- Address garden and staff-related issues promptly.
- Contribute to risk assessments and health and safety audits.
- Assist with winter snow clearance.

The ideal candidate would have:
- Good knowledge and experience of working in gardens
- RHS level 3, National Diploma in Horticulture, NVQ level 3
- PA1 & PA6
- Knowledgable about plants
