We are seeking a dedicated HR People Partner (HRPP) - In this role, you will be embedded within a Trust business unit, operational locality, or specialist service area, providing strategic advice and guidance to local management teams. Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring the consistent application of HR policies and procedures, and in fostering an evolving, positive culture.

As an HR People Partner, you will:

  • Communicate & Build Relationships: Offer expert advice on complex HR issues, and support managers in implementing HR strategies.
  • Analyze & Judge: Utilize various data sources to interpret complex situations and recommend effective HR solutions.
  • Plan & Organize: Guide operational managers on HR strategy adjustments to meet business needs.
  • Implement Policies: Ensure consistent application of HR policies across the Trust, and propose necessary changes.
  • Negotiate & Support: Handle sensitive issues such as absence, performance management, and organizational change with confidence and tact.
  • Coach & Develop: Mentor managers to apply fair HR practices, ensuring consistency and best practices are maintained.
  • Manage People & Finances: Oversee expenses and manage an Associate HR People Partner.
  • Provide Intelligence: Deliver regular reports on people management metrics to support strategic planning.
  • Research & Develop: Conduct surveys and audits to inform HR strategies and policies.
  • Act with Authority: Offer authoritative advice on employment legislation and HR policies.
  • Handle Emotional Challenges: Navigate distressing situations with professionalism and empathy.
