We are partnering with a leading public sector organisation based in Cambridge to recruit a Senior HRBP, reporting to the Head of HR, you will manage and lead an HR team to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of HR services to your client groups.  Hybrid working available – at least 2 days a week on-site however you will expected to be on site more during your first few weeks in post. The organisation employs around 3,200 people and is home to 1,000 visitors. About the role? You will be responsible for –

Your leadership will ensure HR strategies are aligned with the organisation’s People Strategy and vision, while addressing the unique challenges of a diverse workforce, including employees on various terms and conditions.What You'll Bring.We are looking for an HR professional with:
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • A deep understanding of HR practices, including advising on employment law, managing complex cases, and driving organisational change.
  • A proven track record of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making, and leading on high-profile HR initiatives.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace and delivering people-focused solutions.
  • Familiarity with working in complex organisations such as higher education or the NHS (desirable).
