We are seeking a dedicated Data Manager for a maternity cover role, extending until March 2025. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar support staff role, with a strong preference for those familiar with Bromcom or SIMS systemsExperience with timetables is highly desirable for this position, which offers a consistent weekday schedule in a supportive educational environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage and maintain the school’s data systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity of information.
  • Utilise Bromcom or SIMS to input, analyse, and report on student data.
  • Develop and manage academic timetables, coordinating with staff to ensure optimal scheduling.
  • Provide support and training to staff on data management systems and processes.
  • Generate reports and insights that support the school’s decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain confidentiality of student records.
  • Collaborate with various departments to support their data needs and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Data Manager or in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with school data systems, preferably Bromcom or SIMS.
  • Strong understanding of timetable creation and management.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
